Municipality of Adazi

Ādaži Municipality is located in the historical region of Vidzeme, the Riga Planning Region in Latvia. It has a population of around 10,027 inhabitants and it was formed in 2006 from Ādaži Parish, with the administrative centre being Ādaži. The town is mostly known due to the nearby Latfood factory producing Ādažu Čipsi, the best known potato chip brand in Latvia. This municipality is actively involved in the promotion of energy efficiency measures, especially in multi-apartment residential buildings as co-financing schemes are active for energy audits and development of renovation projects to maximize energy savings.
