Municipality of Marousi

Municipality of Marousi is a suburban city in the North-East part of Athens, in Greece, with more than 70.000 inhabitants. Marousi dates back to the era of the ancient Athenian Republic and it has been named after Amarysia Artemis, the goddess of hunting, who was there adored. In this area is also located the Athens Olympic Park, which hosted the 2004 Olympic Games.
