Municipality of Moschato-Tavros
Municipality of Moschato-Tavros is located in South-Athens regional unit in Attica (Greece), with a population of 40.000 inhabitants. Since ancient times it has been covered by olive groves and used as a farmland, until 1926 when the refugees coming from Minor Asia formed the first settlements in the area. The municipality is known for hosting the biggest Carnival in greater Athens area and organising plenty of different cultural events.
