Varna region is one of the twenty-eight provinces in Bulgaria, located on the eastern part of the country and its population counts approximately 465.000 residents. Varna city is the administrative centre of the region and the third largest city in Bulgaria. Varna region is famous in Europe for its oldest town called Solnitsata and for the Neolithic Necropolis, where the world’s oldest gold treasure was found.
